That's a rhombus that appears to consist of 4 congruent 30 60 90 triangles.
The base of those triangles is 8 and the height would be:
tangent (60) = height / 8
height = 8 * tangent (60)
height = 8 * 1.7321
height = 13.8568
area of one triangle = 8 * 13.8568 * .5
area of one triangle = 55.4272
area of all 4 triangles =area of the rhombus = 4 * 55.472 = 221.71
