Answer with explanation:

1. The data points are (-1, 22), (0, 6), (1, -10), (2, -26), and (3, -42).

If you plot it on two dimensional plane, you will find that these points lie on a line.

Other method is to find slope between two points to justify whether function is linear or not

Slope between two points

(22-6)/(-1-0)=(6+10)/(0-1)=(-10+26)/(1-2)=(-26+42)/(2-3)= -16

is same.Justifying that function is linear.

Option A: Linear

2. Plotting these points on the number line

Observing that , it is in the shape of a Parabola, which is a Quadratic Function.

Equation of Quadratic Function = P x²+Q x +R

Option B: Quadratic
