the faces of a cube is a squar
square area=side^2
given
side area=squae area=64

64=side^2
sqrt both sides
8=side

volume =lenght times width times height
in a cube, lenght =widht =height=side=8
in this case they all equal 8

volume=8 times 8 times 8
volume=512 cubic centimeters

The face of one side of a cube is a square shape. The formula for the area of a square
A=s² where s=side length
plug in the data we know
64cm²=s²
√64cm²=s
8cm=s

The side length on the cube is 8cm

The formula for the volume of a cube is

V=s³ where s=side length
plug in the data that we know
V=8³
V=512cm³
