  • In Antigone, the protagonist–Antigone–was created by her beliefs. Though, in the story, it can make her look like an antagonist in many ways, due to her breaking the rules of giving her brother a proper burial–in the story Antigone, Antigone was upset and angry at Creon who rejected the ask of Antigone to give her brother a proper funeral because he was a traitor. Thus, this makes Creon the antagonist of Antigone–Creon is a person who follows the rules nonetheless, and doesn't seem to care about the effects on one's beliefs nor complaints. He's one of the obstacles in the play that Antigone sees.
  • In The Game, the protagonist–Life–was created by the game, game of choice. The object of the game is to win the choice of the other two characters, Youth and Girl. Throughout the game, Girl finds love in Youth, who doesn't feel the same about her but later on in the play, he comes to love her once their fate has been decided. The antagonist–Death–who participated in the game (along with Life) to also win the choice of the dancer and the poet–lost the game. Meaning that Life gives Youth and Girl a second chance in life to love each other.
  • They both have characters whose fate changes throughout the story. The only difference they have is that, in Antigone, Antigone's fate is tragic–caused by Creon. And in The Game, the young poet and dancer's fate is differ from Antigone's–they get another chance in life from Life winning the game.

In Antigone, the protagonist was developed through her statements regarding the death of his brother. Antigone is the protagonist. She spoke to her sister about burying their brother who was dishonored by Creon. This is the way of the author to develop the characters and introduce them to the audience.
