In the box only six layers of blocks can fit and each layer has 15 blocks.

If a box can hold only 6 layers and in each layer there is 15 blocks

To calculate the total number of building blocks we have to multiply 15 blocks to 6 layer.

so total blocks = 15 × 6 = 90 building blocks.

Or you can add 15 by 6 times. ( 15 + 15 + 15 + 15 + 15 + 15 = 90 )

The toy chest hold 90 building blocks.
