8 because area of a triangle is 1/2(base)(height) so we model this as:
24=(1/2)(6)(h) simplify a little so
24=3h
divide both sides by 3. so:
h=8

the height should be 8 because the area of a triangle is b*h/2 so 6*8= 48/2=24 so the height is 8.
