Breaking down plot into smaller episodes helps with understanding. After an introduction, what are the remaining parts of a common plot?

Rising Action- when the story starts getting interesting

Climax- turning point of the book

Falling action- The events in complications begin to resolve themselves. The reader knows what has happened next and if conflict was resolved or not

Resolution- The part of the plot that concludes the following action by revealing or suggesting the outcome of the conflict
