f(x)= (3/2)x - (1/2)
See first we need to understand what is f(x)..this is function of x
where if we change x values that will affect the function's value
means for different x's u will get diff f(x)

here u need to just put x=6 in function equation.
f(6)=(3/2)*6-1/2
f(6)=9-1/2
f(6)=17/2

f(x)= (3/2)x - (1/2)
f(x)= (3/2)(6) - (1/2)
f(x)= 9 - 1/2
f(x)= 8 1/2 (8 and 1/2)
