4/15. There are 7 multiples of 4 before the number 30, plus one more number (19) gets you to 8/30 which simplifies to 4/15

Answer: Our required probability will be
(4)/(15)

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Number written on ticket = 1 to 30

Possible outcomes of the winning ticket will be a multiple of 4 or the number 19.

So, it will be

\{4,8,12,16,20,24,28,19\}

so, probability that the number of the winning ticket will be

(8)/(30)\\\\=(4)/(15)

Hence, our required probability will be
(4)/(15)
