How much force is required to accelerate a 4 kg bowling ball from 0 m/s to 2 m/s in 1 second? what amount of energy does the bowling ball gain? how much work was done on the bowling ball?

well, F = ma

and a= change in vel / change in time
= (2-0 ) / 1 = 2 m^2/s

so, F= 4* 2 = 8 N

and W = F.S = 8 * 2 = 16 J
