The formula for the area of a circle is:

A=πr²

We don't know the radius of the circle, but we do know the diameter. 14cm

The radius is half the value of the diameter:

2r=d

Lets solve for the radius

2r=14

divide both sides by 2
r=7 cm

now we can solve for the area.

A=πr²
A=π7²
A=π49
A=3.14*49
A=153.86 cm²

Answer=153.86 cm²
