She can send 600 texts since she wants to pay $30 for her plan. Divide 30 by 0.05 and you get 600

The inequality $0.05t+$30 > $60 represents how much she could text to keep her bill under $60
To solve this we would first subtract the Y intercept, which we know is $30 because that's how much she pays per month even with out text
So, 60-30=30
The inequality is now
$0.05t > 30

Either equation, $0.05t ≥ $30 or $0.05t+$30 ≥ $60 could both represent how much she could text with her bill being less than $60
