1. What is the best reason for citizens to serve when selected for jury duty?

They owe their fellow citizens a fair trial by jury.
They can avoid having to go to work during the time they serve.
They are legally required to serve on a jury at least once.
They will get paid for the time that they are absent from work.

2. Sarah is walking her dog in a public park. She knows that the law requires her to clean up after her dog. However, she has forgotten to bring a plastic bag for doing so. As a responsible citizen, what will she do if her dog makes a mess?

Hide the mess using leaves
Come back if she is able to find a bag
Ask a fellow dog walker for an extra bag
Hope that no one notices the mess

It isn't legally required that you go to jury duty. And doing it for paid time off isn't a good reason to participate in jury duty.

2. Ask a fellow dog walker for an extra bag

This is obeying the law and taking responsibility for her dog's (nasty) actions.
