Since we are supposed to draw the figure whose perimeter should be 20 units .

So, the first figure we can draw is a square.

Formula of perimeter of square =
4 * side

Now we are given the perimeter 20

So,
20 = 4 * side


(20)/(4)= Side


5= Side

Thus the side of the square should be 5 units so, that its perimeter will be of 20 units.

Refer the figure 1.

Now we can draw a rectangle with length = 7 units

Width = 3 units

Formula of perimeter of rectangle =
2(Length+Width)

=
2(7+3)

=
20

So, the perimeter of rectangle is 20 units
