Use the converse of the Pythagorean theorem to determine if the three given side lengths form a right triangle. 14 cm, 48 cm, 50 cm

So Pythagoras says that in a right triangle


a^2 = b^2 + c^2

where a is the longest side and b, c are shorter sides

So using your information let a = 50, b = 48 and c = 14

substitute them into the formula ans see if the left side of the equation equals the right side.

If the left side does equal the right side the triangle is right angled.

If it doesn't it's not right angled.
