This function is in
y=a|x-h|+k form.

The vertex is always (h, k).

Using the given equation, your vertex is (3, 6).

Now, you might be thinking, "If it's "x - 3", then why isn't the vertex (-3, 6) instead of (3, 6).

This is because, if you look at the absolute value function form, is says "x - h", which means the opposite of "h". Therefore, it really is (3, 6).
