Final answer:

The mismatched country and its major economic activity are Zimbabwe, as its primary economic sectors do not predominantly include a fishing industry, which makes option c incorrect.

Step-by-step explanation:

Economic Activities of Countries

Each country tends to have specific economic activities that are particularly important to its economy. Let's consider the options provided:

Botswana - Known for its stable government and dynamic economy, Botswana's major economic activity is diamond mining. The country has attracted significant investments and has the second-highest standard of living in the region after South Africa.

Madagascar - Though not as rich in mineral resources as some of its mainland neighbors, Madagascar's economy is notable for agriculture, including coffee exports.

Zimbabwe - Zimbabwe, known for its historical Great Zimbabwe empire, is incorrect in the context of a major fishing industry. While it has various economic activities, fishing is not the predominant one.

Mozambique - This country gains a considerable part of its income from port taxes due to its strategic location and ports which are vital for regional trade.

Based on the information provided and the known economic activities of these countries, the mismatched country and its major economic activity is Zimbabwe, whose primary economic sectors do not include a predominant fishing industry.
