Given : the kite MNOP,

Side ON= 5 in.

Side OQ= 3 in

Side QP=2 in

The perimeter if kite is given by,

P=2(ON+OP)

Consider the right angled triangle OQP,

by using pythagorean theorem,

\begin{gathered} (OP)^2=(OQ)^2+(QP)^2 \\ =3^2+2^2 \\ =9+4 \\ =13 \\ OP=\sqrt[]{13} \end{gathered}

The perimeter is ,

\begin{gathered} P=2(ON+OP) \\ P=2(5+\sqrt[]{13}) \\ P=17.2 \end{gathered}

Answer: option c) 17.2 in
