Why do you think the democracy of Germany was so fragile?

Answer:

Germany was already weak due to the fighting in WWI. Germany lost a lot of territory and the financials where catastrophically low. The Treaty of Versailles was so harsh on Germany and the Democratic state was clueless as to how they would solve the crisis. It lacked the leadership and the people where suffering to much to get behind it.
