both the endocrine glands and the nervous system is a major regulating systems of the body. the first is the anterior pituitary, the second one is the adrenal gland,  the third one is pancreatic islet, the fourth one is the thyroid gland, the fifth one is the posterior pituitary and the sixth is the parathyroid gland.
