What is 12.8 divided by 8 please explain how you got the answer

1.6 because if you divide 12.8 by 8 you first divide 12 by 8 and you get 1 so then you add the decimal and you bring down the 8 so now you have 48 so you divide 48 by 8 and you get 6 so your answer is 1.6

12.8/8 is 1.6
What you have to do is do a division house and then just keep dividing
