2 x 7(billy's age) = 14
^2 times billy's age
14 + 3 = Jane's age
^3 years older(added) than 2 times billy's age
17 = Jane's age

J(Jane) + 3 = B(Billy)*2
J + 3 = 7(2)
J + 3 = 14
J = 14-3
