Which solution shows the unsimplified solution for 3x^2-6x+2=0?

A. x=6+√12/3
B. x=6+√12/6

Your answer would be B. x = (6 ± √12)/6
This is because in the quadratic formula, a would be 3, b would be -6 and c would be 2, so when substituting you get:
(6 ± √(-6)² - 4 × 3 × 2)/2 × 6
The part in the square root simplifies to 12, because you get 36 - 24 = 12, so you would get
(6 ± √12)/6, which is answer B.
