Answer:

f^(-1) = x+4

Explanation:

f(x) = x- 4

To find inverse function , we replace f(x) b y

y = x- 4

Replace y with x and replace x with y

x = y - 4

Now we solve for y

x = y - 4

Add 4 on both sides

x + 4 = y

Now we replace y with f^-1(x)

f^(-1) = x+4

Inverse of function f(x) = x-4 is f^-1(x) = x+ 4
