1 Ask: Which two numbers add up to -6−6 and multiply to 55?
-5−5 and -1−1

2 Rewrite the expression using the above
(x-5)(x-1)(x−5)(x−1)

(x-5)(x-1)=0(x−5)(x−1)=0
2 Solve for xxHow?
1 Ask: When will (x-5)(x-1)(x−5)(x−1) equal zero?
When x-5=0x−5=0 or x-1=0x−1=0

2 Solve each of the 2 equations above
