We are asked to find the area under the curve of a certain image describing a standard distribution. But we do need to image to be able to answer.

The image shows a standard distribution of mean zero, and standard deviation 1. And is requesting a shaded area between the values -1.02 and 2.1

Then, we use the Z distribution tables for this:

The table gives a probability of 0.8282

for this distribution

Which is calculated via the Z-tables using

P(Z< 2.1) minus P(Z< -1.02) = 0.9821 - 0.1539 = 0.8282
