If our diameter is 29 feet, then the circumference, in terms of pi is


C=29\pi ft.

If we are multiplying in pi as 3.14, then it is

C = 91.06 ft

The area formula for a circle is


A=\pi r^2

If the diameter is 29, then the radius is half of that at 14.5 feet. Filling in:


A=\pi(14.5)^2

so, in terms of pi, the area is


A=210.25\pi ft^2 or if you multiply pi in as 3.14, then you get:


A=660.185 ft^2
