V = l * w * h
2414.68 = 21.2 * 8.5 * h
2414.68 = 180.2h
divide both sides by 180.2
13.4 = h
h = 13.4 cm

Answer:

13.4 cm is the height of the right rectangular prism

Explanation:

Volume of a right rectangular prism(V) is given by:

V = lwh .....[1]

where,

l is the length of the rectangular prism

w is the width of the rectangular prism and

h is the height of the rectangular prism

As per the statement:

A right rectangular prism has a volume of 2414.68 cm³. The length of the solid is 21.2 cm and the width is 8.5 cm.

⇒V = 2414.68 cm³ , l = 21.2 cm and w = 8.5 cm

Substitute these in [1] we have;

2414.68 = 21.2 \cdot 8.5 \cdot h

2414.68 = 180.2h

Divide both sides by 180.2 we have;

13.4 cm = h

or

h = 13.4 cm

Therefore, the height of the right rectangular prism is, 13.4 cm
