Firstly you do 14 / 2 = 7, so the width is 7,
Now do 2 * 14 (as there are two sides with this length) = 28,
Then do 2 * 7 (as there are two sides with this length) = 14,
14 + 28 = 42, so the perimeter is 42 inches.

Here, Length of the Rectangle = 14
Width = 14/2 = 7
Perimeter = 2(l + w)
= 2(14 + 7)
= 2(21)
= 42 in
In short, Your Answer would be: 42 in
