Why is henry ford, who invented assembly line manufacturing along with the first ford automobiles, treated almost as a deity in the world state?

Ford use of a moving line reduced a car assembly time but this made the work repetitive. So Ford paid workers $5 a day which was a lot. That was more than double the average factory wage at that time. That actually helped America's 20th century middle class took off.
