The tone, I think is calm,
The next on, the paraphrase,
I think it is D, He would point his arrow at the sun for a moment.

D)Calm

This poem is trying to describe and praise the ability of the archer, by telling you different things about his abilities in a calm way.

A)HE would shoot arrows sunward in slowmotion

What the author describes as loosing half of it´s glow is the sunsetting while this happens he could stand the sight of the sun and aim towards him.
