The geometric mean by definition is:

m=(a*b*c)^(1/n)

Mathematically it is the nth root of the product of the elements in a set where n is the number of multiplicands....

For example, the geometric mean of 1 and 100 is:

(1*100)^(1/2)=10

of 3, 9, and 27 is (3*9*27)^(1/3)=9 etc.,etc
