How are percentages different from fractions and decimals?

percentage is out of 100....it can maximum upto 100%
whereas fraction is a rational term....

percentage can be conveted in fraction.. for eg. 25 % is equivalent to 1/4 fraction

Percentages are different from fractions and decimals because percents are limited to being per 100, whereas fractions and decimals can be in any place. for example, a fraction can be 1/2 and a decimal can be 3.7265432981. There is no limit to the place for decimals and fractions, but percentages are limited to the hundredths place. I hope that helps :)
