What are the 2 rules of the magna carta

The king could continue to rule but must keep to the established laws and customs of the land. It also states that no freeman (i.e. a person who was not a serf) will be imprisoned or punished without first going through the proper legal system. In future years the word “freeman” was replaced by “no one” to include everybody.

I don't think this is the answer but sorry if it isn't

the magna carta granted rights that never existed before and led to constitutional law. it is considered the most important document in the history of Democracy. It is required the king to renounce certain rights, respect legal procedures, and accept that his orders could be bound by law. it was the first to include the writ of Habeus corpus. allowing appeal against unlawful imprisonment.
