remember when you multiply or divide both sides by a negative number, flip the sign

-4x<9
times -1/4 both sides and flip sign
x>-9/6

-4x<9 divide both sides by -4 (remember to reverse inequality sign because of division by a negative)

x>-9/4

x>-2.25
