convert 2 1/5 pounds to a decimal 2.20 and divide the cost $7.70 by 2.20 to get the answer $3.50

$3.50 per pound bc if you divide 7.70 by 2 1/5 that's what you get. You can double check my multiplying 3.50 by 2 1/5
