50 is the mean because you add all the diameters then divide by 8

Order:
42, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 54, 60
Add:
42 + 45 + 46 + 49 + 51 + 53 + 54 + 60 = 400
Divide:
400 / 8 (the number of numbers being used)
Answer:
50 = Mean
