What might make it hard for someone to use a dichotomous key? Make a list of possible reasons.

Somethings that could make it difficult to use the dichotomous key would be if the two organism you were trying to use with it, look exactly alike. For example, you may be looking at two different types of pines with very, very small details that are different. Another thing would be if you couldn't see the small characteristics on your organism

The vocabulary is difficult.

The anatomical structures (dorsal, ventral) are not always easy to determine.

Some of the pictures did not show all aspects or key features of the organism.

Some specimens were very similar.

There were lots of questions and it seemed to take a long time to narrow them down.
