Does the author like the society he describes in harrison bergeron

I think the author sees the society in the story of Harrison Bergeron as a reality in the American history. The story refers to both realities of communism and egalitarianism. Both communism and egalitarianism have a general similarity which is equality.  However, the term equality applies to different aspects of both societies.
