The two ways Pennsylvania was different from the other colonies was that it was a democracy. The other is that it allowed freedom of religion.

Democratic political system and complete religious freedom are the two characteristics of life in the pennsylvania colony that made it different from life in any other american colony.

The Pennsylvania Colony constituted one of the 13 original colonies in America. The Pennsylvania Colony was also known as the Province of Pennsylvania. This colony was dominated by the Quaker religious beliefs and values. However there was still religious freedom for other beliefs.
