Hottest States : Florida , Arizona , Texas , Hawaii
Hottest and coldest temperatures:Hottest was 134F in Death Valley, California on July 10, 1913
Coldest recorded temperature was -70F in Rodgers Pass, Montana on January 20, 1954 .
