To find the answer, you would replace the value of x with 28 in the equation, Making it y=330-4 (28).
You would multiply to get 1, 120, then subtract from 330. Resulting in, y= -790.

plug in 28 for x
then do 40 times 28 which is 1120
then do 330-1120 which gets you
-790
