As we know in a right angle triangle as per Pythagoras theorem

Hypotenuse² = height² + base²

Or (Longest side)² = sum of square of other two sides.

For option A

√(40² + 9²) = √(1600 + 81) = √(41)²=41

It is a right option.

For 2, 3, 4

√(2²+3²) = √(4+9) = √13≠ √4²

Therefore not the right angle triangle.

For 8, 9, 10

√(8² + 9²) = √(64 + 81) = √145 ≠ √10²

So triangle is not a right angle triangle.

For 12, 15, 20

√(12²+15²) = √(144+225) = √369 ≠ √20²

So not a triangle angle triangle.
