Solving question 3)

The apple pie takes up 1/5 of the pan. If she eats 1/8 of the pan, that means that we need to fin how much 1/8 out of 1/5 is, and this will be the fraction of apple pie that Anna has eaten.

To find the, what we do is multiply both fractions:

(1)/(8)*(1)/(5)

Solving the multiplications (we multiply the numerators 1x1 and the denominators 8x5):

\begin{gathered} (1*1)/(8*5) \\ \end{gathered}

which results in:

(1)/(40)

Answer: Ana has eaten 1/40 of the apple pie
