Tickets to a play cost $4 in advance and $5 at the door. The theater club president wants to raise at least $400 from the ticket sales. If the club sells 40 tickets in advance, what is the least number of tickets the club needs to sell at the door to reach the president’s goal?

Answer:

48 tickets

Explanation:

so multiply the 4 and 40 to get 160, then subtract that from 400. divide by the 5 and then u get 48
