Answer:

the surface area of the right rectangular prism is,
1205.62 cm^2

Explanation:

Surface area of the right rectangular prism(S) is given by:

S=2(lw+wh+hl) ....[1]

where

l is the length , w is the width and h is the height of the rectangular prism.

As per the statement:

A right rectangular prism has a length of 20.2 cm, a width of 9.1 cm and a height of 14.3 cm.

⇒ l = 20.2 cm , w = 9.1 cm and h = 14.3 cm

Substitute these in [1] we have;

S = 2(20.2 \cdot 9.1+9.1 \cdot 14.3+14.3 \cdot 20.2)

S = 2(183.82+130.13+288.86) = 2(602.81) = 1205.62 cm^2

therefore, the surface area of the right rectangular prism is,
1205.62 cm^2
