Solve algebraically:
(2x^3 − x + 1) + (3x – 5)

All you can do to solve this equation is combine like terms.

2x^3-x+1+3x-5 (combine -x and 3x)
2x^3+2x+1-5 (combine 1 and -5)
2x^3+2x-4
