Wayne Williams was a suspect in the murder of a number of African-American young men and boys, but was only convicted in two cases. His conviction was based on fiber samples found on victim's bodies that matched carpet in William's home and hair samples that were consistent with William's hair. Many years later, DNA testing confirmed that the hair matched Wayne William's hair with 98% accuracy. Why wasn't the DNA testing completely conclusive?

A) an insufficient number of hairs were found
B) William's had a twin who lived in the area
C) the root of the hair follicle wasn't attached
D) William's hair was identical to the victim's hair

I think the answer is letter A. In this case, most of the hair found at the crime scene were from his dog or some fiber from his green carpet.  These evidence had lead to his conviction of the crime as he was declared guilty after several test and investigation.
