A can is 3" in diameter and 7" tall. A shipper wants to ship cans in a box with 2 layers. 4 rows, and 5 cans per row. The box must hold 40 cans. What is the volume of the box?

A) 378 in3
B) 1,980 in3
C) 2,520 in3
D) 33,600 in3

Imagine 4rows of cans
And five columns of cans




Therefore since we know each can has a diameter of 3, imagine it being the length of the circle, then the length would be 3x5cans and the width to be 3x4cans and finally the height is 7 but there's two layers so that's 14.
Volume is (length) X (width) X (height)
So 15x12x14=2520
