Which value for Y in the table would be least likely to indicate an association between the variables? 0.06 0.24 0.69 1.0

0.69 would be the correct answer. Its the only one that is similar in value to the number next to it on the table, 0.68.

In the table given, it is assured then that Y should be less than 1 to cater other variables and sum up to 1 eventually. The least likely should be 0.69 since it would require much to compensate for 0.01 and 0.25 already. if this is so, then the sum of all these numbers in suppose is already greater than 1. The answer is C.
